Second round done!

It’s been a mixed experience doing the pages for this round. For various reasons, mostly external (new child, family time in the hospital, freelance commitments) this whole thing has taken a lot longer than I’d hoped, which wound up draining some of the momentum both for the people reading it and for me drawing it. For those of you who’ve stuck with it all the way through, thank you! And for everyone reading and voting, I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get from page to page.

On the plus side, I think this round worked a lot better than the previous in terms of the voting. More people are voting, which is really encouraging, and the votes have been a lot closer, which suggests that I managed to balance the options a bit better than in round one. Managing the smut genre’s specific narrative tics with the choose-your-own-adventure style reader-driven storytelling has been a fun challenge, and it’s one I’m still keen to explore further.

I’m just finalising how round three’s going to work, but I’m hoping the next page will be up soon. This’ll be the final round, so whatever happens I’m hoping it’ll be fun for all involved. Cheers 🙂
