(Note: this happened last week, i.e. before the election on Saturday.)

The Central Leader is the local newspaper for our part of Auckland and in its defence, the election is a national rather than a local event. But still, there was nothing they could say about it in the issue they published just a day or two before the vote? And although it was higher than last time, voter turnout this year was embarrassingly low, and you can’t tell me the media can’t do more to fight that.
Also, Eminem is suing the ruling party of our country. I don’t care what kind of newspaper you are, if you’re not running with that then you have missed the entire point of journalism.
