For reference: Te Puke is a town in the North Island of New Zealand. Datura is a hallucinogenic and massively toxic plant that for some reason people like to have in their gardens. We used to have one in our garden when I was a kid, and every now and then my mum would have to go out and yell at neighbourhood kids who were trying to take the flowers to boil and get high/go blind and die.
